Wöhner shows innovations as well as product highlights

Rödental, 23 November 2021 – Wöhner, a leading solution provider in the field of power distribution, control technology and renewable energies, will provide an insight into its production on Tuesday, November 23 from 3:00 pm. Interested parties can stream the tour on level4.woehner.de , the company's digital event platform for product launches, webinars and live events. The tour was originally planned on the occasion of the SPS trade fair and its digital complement "SPS on air," which, however, had to be canceled due to the worsening of the pandemic situation. 

"We welcome the official cancellation of SPS this year. In view of the pandemic situation, we already decided last week to cancel our carefully planned participation in the physical trade fair. The safety of our employees, partners and customers is our top priority – even if that means we have to forego face-to-face meetings and direct exchanges this year," explains Philipp Steinberger, CEO at Wöhner. "Nevertheless, we would like to offer our customers, partners and all interested parties the opportunity to learn more about our innovations as well as to participate in the planned digital tour through our production. For this, we rely on the digital platform Level4, which we developed ourselves, as well as our digital innovation hub."

Under the motto "Level up with smart machines and networked systems", Wöhner will show how digitalisation runs through the entire production process as part of the digital guided tour through its production: starting with the partially automated material planning system, autonomous floor conveyor vehicles or fully automated production plants and ending with an automated high-bay warehouse.

In addition, Wöhner will be showcasing its broad portfolio of new products at its innovations hub innovations.woehner.de. These include:

•    CrossBoard: With the CrossBoard, Wöhner has developed a new system that combines the advantages of a high-performance busbar system with traditional wiring on the DIN mounting rail. Suitable for standard control cabinet widths, the CrossBoard is now available with seven additional widths in addition to the previous 225 mm and 405 mm widths.
•    MOTUS C14: The electronic motor starter MOTUS C14 is fuseless, can be switched on again after the short circuit has been cleared and switches off 100 to 1000 times faster than a conventional fuse or circuit breaker in the event of a fault. As a result, it ensures maximum safety for machinery and equipment.
•    OMUS C14: The electronic switch OMUS C14 in Wöhner's new product category has been specially developed for precise switching of ohmic loads with high frequency, e.g. in heating processes. The new OMUS C14 switches 1-phase and 3-phase loads at up to 20 Hz. Thanks to the innovative C14 technology, it also enables extremely fast disconnection in the event of a fault and easy reconnection after error elimination. 
•    CrossMT: With the new electronic measurement adapter CrossMT, Wöhner completes the entry into the digitalisation of the successful basic system CrossBoard. In combination with a wide variety of applications, the CrossMT adds intelligent functions and connectivity wherever components in the control cabinet do not come with them out of the box.
•    EQUES 185POWER: The new basic system adapter EQUES 185POWER enables new solutions in connection with the 185 mm busbar system 185Power that were not feasible before. All CrossBoard components can be snapped onto the basic system adapter easily and without tools via the CrossLink interface.
•    CAPUS Panel: With the new CAPUS S32 and CAPUS BB32 load switch series, Wöhner strengthens its CAPUS switch range with two powerful new additions. The new CAPUS S32 switch-disconnectors complement the Wöhner product range of surface-mount components for mounting on DIN rail or mounting plate with outstanding technical features and extensive accessories.
