Switch from DEL quotation to LME quotation

Rödental, February 23rd 2022 - On Monday, February 14th, 2022, the copper price quotation via the German Electrolytic Copper Quotation (DEL) and thus the previous basis for calculating our metal surcharges was suspended. 
 
As of Wednesday, March 1st, 2022, we will use a new basis for the calculation of the copper surcharges. The DEL quotation previously used for the calculation of the metal surcharges will be replaced on March 1st, 2022 by the LME quotation converted to the current euro exchange rate plus a correction factor of currently 1.015. The factor is chosen in such a way that the conversion does not lead to a significant increase in prices.
 
The already agreed base prices are not affected by the change and remain valid.

This rate is the basis for calculating orders on the following day. This means that the existing metal agreements can continue to be applied.
