The future is electric – All Electric Society-Arena

With the "All Electric Society" arena, the ZVEI has created a forum for exchange between companies, politics and society on climate-neutral industrial society at HANNOVER MESSE. This year, the "All Electric Society" arena once again highlighted what it means for German industry: The future is electric – and networked.

Wöhner is also represented in the ZVEI and is one of the partners of the "All Electric Society" arena. In two keynote speeches, experts from Wöhner provided insights into how we make an important contribution to an efficient All Electric Society with our products.

In the first, exciting lecture "Smart data collection – the basis for an efficient all electric society", Lars Meisenbach (Vice President Product) and Sven Fritzel (Product Management, Engineering Office Stapf) gave a wide range of impulses around an all-electric society. According to Meisenbach, the solution is not to electrify everything blindly – rather, intelligent systems are needed that serve as the basis for precise design, efficient control and sustainable optimisation of energy distributions. Flexibility is crucial here: whether through integration or as a retrofit – solutions must be adaptable to existing systems.

"The importance of standardised power distribution for the global AI rollout" was the title of the presentation by our experts Tobias Büttner (Head of Product Management) and Joe Wolfe (Director Engineering & Sales, Wöhner USA), who spoke about the importance of standardised power distribution for the global AI rollout, among other things.

Due to the increasing application of AI in daily life or in the working environment, new data centers are being built worldwide, which require more and more energy. The enormous scaling of the expansion and construction of new data centers requires an energy distribution system that meets the demanding requirements: simple planning, fast implementation, scalability and high reliability of the components.
