Wöhner receives political and business leaders at Hannover Messe

This is the only way to combine decarbonisation and economic requirements in order to consistently protect the climate and maintain prosperity and competitiveness in Germany. During his tour at Hannover Messe, State Secretary Udo Philipp (Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and ClimateProtection), accompanied by Thilo Brodtmann, Managing Director of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) and Wolfgang Weber, Chairman of the Management Board of the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI e.V.), visited companies that are driving forward the energy transition in Germany. Wöhner develops solutions that increase efficiency and safety in energy distribution worldwide and thus act as an enabler of the energy transition. In addition, Wöhner components in wind power and photovoltaic systems ensure maximum supply and system reliability and thus support the transition to renewable energies.

Energy supply for the German economy at the centre of discussions with BDI President Russwurm

Prof Siegfried Russwurm, President of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), was told how Wöhner's solutions for efficient energy distribution make a decisive contribution to Germany's competitiveness. “Germany must remain efficient as an industrialised and exporting country in order to hold its own in international competition – not least in order to manage the transformation to a climate-neutral industry,” said BDI President Siegfried Russwurm. “A secure, efficient energy supply is a key prerequisite for this. Companies like Wöhner help to secure this supply and thus keep Germany attractive as a business location.”

As the global market leader for busbar system technology, Wöhner promotes the compatibility of the energy transition with economic criteria. As a trade fair innovation, the company is presenting the expansion of the power distribution system CrossBoard from 160 to up to 800 amps. Power distribution systems for data centres, machines and systems, for example, can be set up safely, easily, quickly and compactly. In the four basic systems CrossBoard, 60Classic, 185 Power and Panel, users can use measurement technology to record all relevant variables and realise intelligent distribution systems.
